Vivere Stays team have multiple origins. Some come from poor countries in Latam, others from war zones like Ukraine. The ones coming from cities with slums and townships (such as Buenos Aires, Bogota, Quito, Lima, Capetown) are involved in a side project that promotes tourism to those areas. People need to see with their own eyes what it means to live a slum. Only if they see, they can understand and act accordingly in their daily routine to help. However, for having participated in several visits to mostly African townships, I can say that a local guide (from the township) is needed for safety reasons. They exist in most of those areas. Visiting together with them, makes it 100% safe. The money they make benefits their environment. Vivere Stays committed to promote them and their services.
Let us promote PEACE: We have Russians and Ukrainians working together in Vivere Stays and some of us lived in those countries, love them and do not understand the current situation. We watch very carefully our recruitment in order to achieve maximum diversity. Diversity leads to knowledge, knowledge to transparency, transparency to understanding, understanding to peace.
